What is tallow soap and why is it good for skin?

Tallow is rendered beef fat that has been used in skincare for centuries. It's rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K, and its fatty acid profile closely mirrors that of human skin — which means it absorbs beautifully and nourishes deeply without clogging pores. Many people find tallow soap to be incredibly gentle and moisturizing compared to conventional commercial soaps.

Are your products safe for sensitive skin?

We formulate our products with clean, simple ingredients and avoid harsh synthetic additives, artificial dyes, and unnecessary chemicals. Many of our customers with sensitive skin have had great results. That said, everyone's skin is different, so we always recommend checking the full ingredient list for each product before purchasing, especially if you have known allergies.

What does "cure time" mean and why does soap need it?

After soap is made, it needs time to cure — typically 4 to 6 weeks. During this time, excess water evaporates and the saponification process completes, resulting in a harder, milder, longer-lasting bar. We never rush this process, because a properly cured bar is simply a better bar.

Do you use any artificial dyes or synthetic ingredients?

We strive to keep our ingredients as clean and natural as possible. When color is used, we use natural colorants like indigo powder or mica. Any fragrance used is clearly listed in the ingredients, and we always aim to be fully transparent about what goes into every product.

How long do your products last and what is the shelf life?

Our soaps generally have a shelf life of 1 year or more when stored properly — keep them in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. To extend the life of your bar in the shower, use a well-draining soap dish that allows it to dry between uses.

Do you ship, and how long does shipping take?

Yes, we ship! Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1-2 business days. Shipping times vary depending on your location. You'll receive a tracking number once your order is on its way.
